Lehmanotus is an extinct genus of prehistoricbony fish that lived during theEarly Triassic epoch in what is nowMadagascar.[1] It belongs toParasemionotidae together withAlbertonia,Candelarialepis,Jacobulus,Parasemionotus,Qingshania,Stensioenotus,Suius,Thomasinotus andWatsonulus. It is named afterJean-Pierre Lehman.
