Le Castellet (French pronunciation: [lə kastəlɛ] ;Occitan :Lo Castelet ) is acommune in theVar department of theProvence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in SoutheasternFrance . It consists of a small feudal village perched on a cliff edge and its surroundings.[ 3] It is situated north-west ofToulon next toLa Cadière-d'Azur andLe Beausset . It is surrounded byvineyards and is part of theCôtes de ProvenceAppellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) ofBandol . It is a member ofLes Plus Beaux Villages de France (The Most Beautiful Villages of France) Association. TheCircuit Paul Ricard is also located in the commune.
