Krydor (2016 population:15) is avillage in theCanadian province ofSaskatchewan within theRural Municipality of Redberry No. 435 andCensus Division No. 16. The community's name is a combination of the names of two early settlers, Petro Krysak and Teodor Lucyk (KRYsak + teoDOR).[6] Petro Krysak also served as the first postmaster, from September 1, 1911, to July 7, 1913.[2]
Krydor incorporated as a village on August 25, 1914.[7]
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Krydor had a population of15 living in15 of its25 total private dwellings, a change of0% from its 2016 population of15. With a land area of 0.94 km2 (0.36 sq mi), it had a population density of16.0/km2 (41.3/sq mi) in 2021.[10]
In the2016 Census of Population, the Village of Krydor recorded a population of15 living in12 of its24 total private dwellings, a0% change from its 2011 population of15. With a land area of 0.82 km2 (0.32 sq mi), it had a population density of18.3/km2 (47.4/sq mi) in 2016.[11]
