Kristin Robbins (born April 29, 1968) is an American politician serving in theMinnesota House of Representatives since 2019. A member of theRepublican Party of Minnesota, Robbins represents District 37A in the northwesternTwin Cities metropolitan area, including the city ofMaple Grove and parts ofHennepin County.[1]

Early life, education, and career

Robbins was raised inCrookston, Minnesota.[2] She attendedBethel University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science, andWashington University in St. Louis, graduating with a Master of Arts in economics.[1]

Robbins was formerly the legislative director for former U.S. RepresentativeHarris Fawell and a deputy chair of the Senate District 34 Republicans.[3] She was the executive director of the Economic Club of Minnesota.[2]

Minnesota House of Representatives

Robbins was elected to theMinnesota House of Representatives in2018, after incumbentJoyce Peppin retired, and has been reelected every two years since.[1]

Robbins has served as an assistant minority leader since 2023. In 2025, she was selected as the Chair of the new Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee. For 2025-26, she sits on the Higher Education Finance and Policy, Taxes, and Ways and Means Committees.[1]

Robbins and her husband, Brent, have three children. She resides inMaple Grove, Minnesota.[8]
