Kowloon Rock (Chinese:九龍石) is anisland in the middle ofKowloon Bay inHong Kong, near the runway of the formerKai Tak Airport.[1] Administratively, it is part ofKowloon City District.
The island is three metres by two.[1] The rock has no vegetation, as it is a rock. Anisolated danger daymark is installed to alert passing vessels.
The island is now sheltered in theTo Kwa Wantyphoon shelter by a dyke across the bay.
