Kovvur revenue division (or Kovvur division) is anadministrative division in theEast Godavari district of theIndian state ofAndhra Pradesh. Development started in 2009 after Burugupalli Sesharao was elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly under theTelugu Desam Party (TDP). He was elected twice due to the developments made under his leadership. It is one of the tworevenue divisions in the district, which consists of ninemandals under its administration.Kovvur is the divisional headquarters of the division.[1][2]
