Koratla railway station (Station Code: KRLA) comes underPeddapalli–Nizamabad section. It is anIndian Railways station which serves the townKorutla ofJagtial District inTelangana. It is a major station afterLingampet - Jagityal station (LPJL) andKarimnagar railway station (KRMR). It is administered underSecunderabad railway division ofSouth Central Railway zone of Indian Railways.[1]
Koratla railway station comes underPeddapalli–Nizamabad line. On 30 June 1993,P. V. Narasimha Rao has sanctioned Peddapalli–Nizamabad line. After 2 decades i.e., after 23 years, in 2016 the line was inaugurated.
