Kleberg County Airport (ICAO:KIKG,FAALID:IKG) is a county-owned, public-useairport located nine nautical miles (10 miles; 17 km) west of thecentral business district ofKingsville, a city inKleberg County,Texas,United States.[1] This airport is included in the FAA'sNational Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, whichcategorized it as ageneral aviation facility.[2]
Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letterlocation identifier for theFAA andIATA, this facility is assignedIKG by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.[3]
Kleberg County Airport covers an area of 295 acres (119 ha) at anelevation of 130 feet (40 m) abovemean sea level. It has onerunway designated 13/31 with anasphalt surface measuring 6,000 by 75 feet (1,829 by 23 m).[1]
