Kivi (Persian:كيوي, alsoRomanized asKīvī; also known asKīvī Zāvīyeh)[1] is a village inKhvoresh Rostam-e Shomali Rural District,Khvoresh Rostam District,Khalkhal County, Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 190, in 54 families.[2]
According toVladimir Minorsky, the name "Kivi" is derived from the historicalTatar tribe calledKūyīn orKü'īn.[3]: 77
