Kisbey (2016 population:153) is a village in theCanadian province ofSaskatchewan within theRural Municipality of Brock No. 64 andCensus Division No. 1. The village took its name from Richard Claude Kisbey (d. 1941), anIrish immigrant who settled inEstevan.[7]
Kisbey incorporated as a village on May 8, 1907.[8]
In the2021 Census of Population conducted byStatistics Canada, Kisbey had a population of158 living in77 of its95 total private dwellings, a change of3.3% from its 2016 population of153. With a land area of 2.69 km2 (1.04 sq mi), it had a population density of58.7/km2 (152.1/sq mi) in 2021.[2]
In the2016 Census of Population, the Village of Kisbey recorded a population of153 living in83 of its95 total private dwellings, a-41.8% change from its 2011 population of217. With a land area of 2.77 km2 (1.07 sq mi), it had a population density of55.2/km2 (143.1/sq mi) in 2016.[12]
