Kionna Jeter (born 1997) is an Americanbasketball player. She was drafted in the third round of the2021 WNBA draft by theLas Vegas Aces. She plays the Point Guard position.[1][2]
Jeter grew up inSpartanburg, South Carolina, where she attended Spartanburg High School.[3][4]
Jeter originally signed to play atCoastal Carolina University before transferring toGulf Coast State, where she played for one year.[5][6]
From Gulf Coast State, Jeter transferred toTowson University, where she played for three years. She was the 2020-21Colonial Athletic Association preseason player of the year and was the first Towson player to earn three consecutive all-CAA first team selection as well as back-to-back CAA all-defensive team honors. She led Towson to theNCAA tournament in2019.[7][8][9]
In 2021, Jeter decided to forgo her final year of eligibility with Towson and enter the2021 WNBA draft.[10] She was drafted by theLas Vegas Aces with the 36th pick but was waived before the start of the2021 season.[11][12][13]
In July 2022, Jeter signed with Faenza Basket Project of the Italian Serie A1.[14] In August 2023, Jeter signed with reigningÚrvalsdeild kvenna championsValur.[15] She left the team before the start of the season.
