Kiertyny Wielkie[kʲɛrˈtɨnɨ ˈvʲɛlkʲɛ] (German:Groß Kärthen)[1] is avillage in the administrative district ofGmina Bartoszyce, withinBartoszyce County,Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with theKaliningrad Oblast ofRussia.[2] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north ofBartoszyce and 60 km (37 mi) north of the regional capitalOlsztyn.
