Karin Brienesse (born 17 July 1969 inBreda) is a formerfreestyle andbutterflyswimmer from theNetherlands, who competed in three consequentiveSummer Olympics for her native country, starting in1988. There she won the silver medal with the Dutch 4×100 m freestyle relay team, behindEast Germany.[2] Three years later Brienesse won the title in the same event at theEuropean LC Championships 1991 inAthens, Greece.[3]
