Kango people

TheKango (Bakango), also known as theBatchua andMbuti-Sua, are anMbutipygmy people of theIturi forest. They speak aBantu language,Bila, apparently in two dialects, northern Sua and southern Kango.

They are in a patron–vassal relationship with several Bantu-speaking peoples, theBila,Budu,Ndaka,Bombo,Liko, andBaali; two Sudanic peoples, theLese andLuumbi, and the UbangianMayogo.

They may be theWochua people described in the 19th century.
