KAMB (101.5MHz,Celebration Radio) is anon-commercial, listener-supportedFMradio station broadcasting aContemporary Christianformat. It islicensed toMerced, California, serving theModesto-Turlock-Merced area of theCentral Valley inCentral California. It is owned by Central Valley Broadcasting Company, Inc. It has been aChristian radio station since its founding on November 4, 1967; 57 years ago (1967-11-04).[2]

KAMB is aClass B FM station. It has aneffective radiated power (ERP) of 1,850watts. Thetransmittertower is on a mountaintop inMount Bullion, California, about 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Merced.[3] In addition, KAMB programming is heard on severalFM translators in Central and Northern California.

Programming

Most of the day, KAMB plays Contemporary Christian music. There areChristian talk and teaching shows in early morning and evenings, includingFocus on the Family withJim Daly,Insight for Living withChuck Swindoll,A Moment with Joni withJoni Eareckson Tada andPortraits of Grace withJohn MacArthur.

KAMB holds periodicfundraisers on the air and on its website. It calls itself "Celebration Radio." The studios are on East 16th Street in Merced.
