John Warhurst (born 1 October 1944 inSheffield,West Riding of Yorkshire) is a retired malerace walker fromEngland.

Athletics career

As an amateur Warhurst won the 1967Sheffield Star Walk.[1] Warhurst representedGreat Britain at the1972 Olympic Games, finishing 18th in the 50 km walk.[2] He representedEngland and won agold medal in the 20 miles walk event, at the1974 British Commonwealth Games inChristchurch,New Zealand.[3][4][5]
