Jisonaayili(Jisonayili) is a community inSagnarigu District in theNorthern Region ofGhana. It is a linear settlement concentrated along theJisonayili Road that divides the community into two halves.[1][2][3] The immediate neighboring communities includeKanvili,Gurugu,Chogu-Yapalsi andKamina Barracks. The community is served by a public library located in theJisonaayili Community Center.
The community is under the leadership of a local chief enskined[clarification needed] by the main chief ofTamale (Gukpenaa). The present chief of Jisonaayili (2015), Alhaji Alhassan Abu was installed in February 2015 after his predecessor (Bomaha-naa Mahamadu) died in 2012.
