TheJerico River is a 12.8-mile-long (20.6 km)[1] river on theAtlantic coastal plain in theU.S. state ofGeorgia. It serves as the boundary betweenBryan andLiberty counties for its entire length.
It rises at the juncture of Jerico Creek and Mount Hope Creek 12 miles (19 km) east ofHinesville and winds through salt marshes and underInterstate 95, ending at its junction with theLaurel View andBelfast rivers, two tidal channels that extend to theMedway River, an arm of theAtlantic Ocean.
