Jeffrey Hoogland (born 16 March 1993) is a Dutchtrack cyclist. He represented his nation in eleven editions of theUCI Track Cycling World Championships (since2013).[1] At the2015 UEC European Track Championships, he collected a total of three gold medals, individually in thesprint[2] and the1 km time trial,[3] and withNils van 't Hoenderdaal andHugo Haak in theteam sprint.[4] On 31 Oct 2023, Hoogland beat the 10 year old1 km world record with the time of 55.433 sec.[5][6]
He is a 6-time World Champion in the team sprint (2018-2021, 2023-2024) and a 4-time World Champion in the 1 km time trial (2018, 2021-2023).[7] Hoogland won a silver medal at the2020 Summer Olympics in thesprint event and was a part of the team that won a gold medal in theteam sprint competition, setting the new Olympic record in the finals. He was also a member of the team that retained the team sprint title at the2024 Summer Olympics.
