James "JJ" Tracy (born July 10, 2002) is an American tennis player who specializes in doubles.He has a career-highATP doubles ranking of world No. 74 achieved on 3 March 2025. He also has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 668 achieved on 23 October 2023.[2]

College career

Tracy plays college tennis atOhio State University.[3] He won the 2024 NCAA doubles title with partnerRobert Cash.[4]

Professional career

Tracy won his first ITF title at the 2023 M15 tournament inSouth Bend, defeating fellow AmericanStrong Kirchheimer 6–1, 6–2 in the final.[5]

In 2024, Tracy won his first two ITF doubles tournaments inSan Diego andLaval.[6]Tracy made his ATP main draw debut at the2024 Hall of Fame Open after receiving a wildcard into thedoubles tournament withRobert Cash and the pair reached their first ATP final.[7]

After winning the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championship, Tracy and Cash were given a wildcard into the2024 US Open. They defeatedNicolás Jarry andCristian Rodríguez in the first round, before losing to 16th-seededMáximo González andAndrés Molteni in three sets.[1]

He reached the top 100 at world No. 93 in the doubles rankings on 10 February 2025, following his title at the2025 Cleveland Open partnering Cash.[2]
