Istora MRT Station (orIstora Mandiri MRT Station, withBank Mandiri granted for naming rights)[1][2] is arapid transit station on theNorth-South Line of theJakarta MRT inJakarta,Indonesia. Located on Jl. Jendral Sudirman, it is located between theBendungan Hilir andSenayan stations, and has the station code IST.

The station is located near theSudirman Central Business District (SCBD), which houses theIndonesia Stock Exchange,Pacific Place mall, andRitz-Carlton hotel, among others. The wordIstora in its name comes fromIstora Gelora Bung Karno, located withinGelora Bung Karno Sports Complex nearby the station.

The second underground station on the MRT, Istora Mandiri station is located on Jl. Jendral Sudirman inKebayoran Baru,South Jakarta. Nearby is the shopping mall ofPacific Place, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and theIndonesia Stock Exchange, all located within the greaterSudirman Central Business district (SCBD). The station is located close to theGelora Bung Karno Sports complex and The Sultan hotel, and close to theSemanggi Interchange with Jl. Gatot Sobroto and theJakarta Inner Ring Road.

History

The station was officially opened, along with the rest of Phase 1 of the Jakarta MRT on 24 March 2019 (2019-03-24).[3]
