Irumashi Station (入間市駅,Irumashi-eki) is a passengerrailway station located in the city ofIruma, Saitama, Japan, operated by theprivate railway operatorSeibu Railway.
Irumashi Station is served by theSeibu Ikebukuro Line fromIkebukuro in Tokyo, with some services inter-running via theTokyo Metro Yurakucho Line toShin-Kiba and theTokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line toShibuya and onward via theTokyu Toyoko Line andMinato Mirai Line toMotomachi-Chukagai. Located betweenInariyama-kōen andBushi, it is 36.8 km from the Ikebukuro terminus.[1]
The station consists of a ground-levelside platform and twoisland platforms, serving a total of four tracks.[2]

Platforms 1 and 2 share the same track. Limited express trains usually stop at Platform 2 in the down direction and Platform 5 in the up direction.

The station opened on 15 April 1915 asToyooka-machi Station (豊岡町駅).[1] It was renamed Irumashi on 1 April 1967.[1]
Station numbering was introduced on all Seibu Railway lines during fiscal 2012, with Irumashi Station becoming "SI23".[3]
Through-running to and fromYokohama andMotomachi-Chukagai via theTokyu Toyoko Line andMinatomirai Line commenced on 16 March 2013.[4]
In fiscal 2019, the station was the 28th busiest on the Seibu network with an average of 33,713 passengers daily.[5] The passenger figures for previous years are as shown below.
