Ilias Alhaft (born 23 February 1997) is a Dutch professionalfootballer who plays as awinger forEerste Divisie clubCambuur.[2]
Alhaft was born in on 23 February 1997 inRotterdam, where he started playing football forRVVH in 2005.[3] Three years later, he joinedSparta Rotterdam's youth academy.[4]
Alhaft made his professional debut for Sparta on 29 April 2016, in a 3–2 home victory overDordrecht, entering as a substitute forLoris Brogno in the 85th minute.[5] During the2016–17 season, he also played in theTweede Divisie withJong Sparta, the club'sreserve team.
In January 2019, Alhaft's contract with Sparta Rotterdam was terminated, and he subsequently joinedAlmere City, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal.[6] He debuted for Almere City on 26 January 2019 in a home match againstTwente.[7] In April 2019, he suffered a torncruciate ligament, which kept him out of action until February 2020.[8] In 2023, Alhaft helped Almere achieve promotion to theEredivisie through the play-offs, notably providing two key assists in the return match againstEindhoven in the first round.[9][10]
In the summer of 2023, Alhaft signed withArmenian Premier League clubNoah.[11] He made his competitive debut for the club on 4 August, replacing compatriotJustin Mathieu in the 84th minute of a 1–0 away loss toBKMA Yerevan.[12] On 18 August, he scored his first goal for the club, helping Noah to a 4–0 win overShirak.[11] During his sole season with the club, he scored seven goals across 34 appearances in all competitions.[2]
On 3 September 2024, Alhaft returned to the Netherlands, where he signed a one-season contract with Eerste Divisie clubCambuur.[13] He made his debut for the club ten days later, replacingMaikel Kieftenbeld in the 75th minute of a 1–0 home loss toJong Ajax.[14][15]
Born in the Netherlands, Alhaft is of Moroccan and Indonesian descent.[16][17]
