Hylodesmum glutinosum is aspecies offlowering plant in thefamilyFabaceae. Common names includelarge tick-trefoil,clustered-leaved tick-trefoil,large-flowered tick-clover,pointed tick-trefoil,beggar's lice andpointed-leaved tick-trefoil.[1][2] It occurs in eastern Canada, the central and eastern United States, and northeastern Mexico.[3]
First described in 1802 asHedysarum glutinosum and sometimes considered part of the genusDesmodium, it was transferred to the new genusHylodesmum (tribeDesmodieae) in 2000.[4]
