Hugh Frederic Woodhouse,D.D. (Dublin 1912 -Vancouver 2010)[1] wasRegius Professor of Divinity atTrinity College Dublin from 1963 to 1982.[2][3]
Wodehouse was educated atTrinity College Dublin andordained in 1938. After curacies inBelfast andBangor he held incumbencies atAghalee andNewtownards.[4] He wasProfessor ofEcclesiasticalHistory atWycliffe College, Toronto from 1951 to 1954; Principal of the Anglican Theology College inVancouver from 1954 to 1959; and Professor ofDogmatic theology at theUniversity of King's College, Halifax, NS from 1959 until his Regius appointment. He was electedFellow of TCD in 1974.
