Hsu Ching-chung (Chinese:徐慶鐘;pinyin:Xú Qìngzhōng; 19 July 1907 – 13 March 1996) was aTaiwanese politician. He was thevice premier of Taiwan from 1972 to 1981 and actingpremier of Taiwan in 1978[1]
Born inTaipei in 1907, Hsu was ofHakka ancestry fromJiaoling,Meizhou,Guangdong,China.[2] He graduated fromTaihoku Imperial University.[3]
Hsu was theMinister of the Interior in 1966–1972 andVice Premier in 1972–1981.[2]
Hsu died in 1996.[2]
