Howard K. Walker (born August 5, 1958) is a Canadian formerice hockeydefenceman. He played 83 games in theNational Hockey League for theWashington Capitals andCalgary Flames from 1980 to 1982.
Walker was born inGrande Prairie,Alberta. He played junior hockey withthe Pass Red Devils andPenticton Vees. At theUniversity of North Dakota, Walker was a member of theNorth Dakota Fighting Hawks men's ice hockey team.[1]
Originally signed by theWashington Capitals as a free agent in1980 NHL Entry Draft, Walker played parts of two seasons there before he was traded to the Flames. He played with theHershey Bears andColorado Flames before retiring at the end of the1982–83 NHL season.
