Holger Krahmer (born 16 October 1970 inLeipzig) is aGermanpolitician and formerMember of the European Parliament with theFree Democratic Party of Germany, part of theAlliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
Krahmer was first elected in the2004 European elections. During his time in Parliament, he served on theEuropean Parliament'sCommittee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety. He was a substitute for theCommittee on Regional Development and a member of the Delegation for relations with the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
After leaving Parliament, Krahmer started working as a senior adviser on EU policy for the consulting firm Hanover Communications. In April 2015, he left Hanover to start working forOpel, the European branch ofGeneral Motors (GM), as director of European affairs public policy and government relations.[1]
