Henrik Langaas Skogvold (born 14 July 2004) is aNorwegian professionalfootballer who plays as a forward forFredrikstad.
Hailing fromKjeller,[2] he played youth football forLillestrøm SK. Skogvold made his senior debut in the2021 Norwegian Football Cup againstFu/Vo, and subsequently hisEliteserien debut in August 2021 against Haugesund. In the same year he made his debut as a Norway youth international. In 2022 he scored his first youth international goal, againstPortugal U18.[3]
In April 2023, the second-tier clubIK Start lost their on-loan forwardJack Lahne to a long-term injury. A "national youth loan" was agreed with Lillestrøm, which saw Skogvold move to Start on a short-term loan outside of the transfer windows.[4] Skogvold trained once with Start before making his debut, and got his breakthrough in Norwegian football with 5 goals in the first 5 games. He was hailed as a "super signing" and gave Start hopes of promotion to the2024 Eliteserien.[5]
