Grigore-Kalev Stoicescu (born 2 September 1965 inConstanța, Romania) is anEstonian diplomat[1] and politician representing theEstonia 200 party. He is a member of theXV Riigikogu. He is the Chairman of the National Defence Committee.[2]
He was born in Romania[3] to a Romanian father and an Estonian mother.[4] He attended theEstonian School of Diplomacy inTallinn.[3]
From 1997[1] to 1999,[5] he wasAmbassador of Estonia to the United States andCanada, and later toMexico.
He stood for theRiigikogu in the2023 elections, received 3663 votes inconstituency No 5 (Hiiu,Lääne andSaare) and was elected.[6]
