TheGovernor of Bali is the Head of the Level I in theBali Provincial Government who holds the government in Bali along with thevice governor and 55 members of theBali Regional House of Representatives۔ The Governor and Vice Governor of Bali are elected through general elections which are held every 5 years.

If the position is vacant the president of Indonesia will appoint an acting governor of Bali, currently there are only 3 acting governors of Bali.
