Gloucester Docks is a historic area of the city ofGloucester. The docks are located at the northern junction of theRiver Severn with theGloucester and Sharpness Canal. They are Britain's most inland port.[1]
The docks include fifteenVictorian warehouses, that are now listed buildings.[2] It also contains theGloucester Waterways Museum and theSoldiers of Gloucestershire Museum. The Robert Opie Collection of Advertising and Packaging (now theMuseum of Brands in London) was also here from 1984 until 2001.
Every year since2007, Gloucester Docks has been home to theTall Ships Festival.[3]
