Giovanna Epis (born 11 October 1988) is an Italianlong-distance runner.
She competed at the2018 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.[1] She was bronze medal with theItalian team at the2019 European 10,000m Cup inLondon. In 2019, she competed in thewomen's marathon at the2019 World Athletics Championships held in Doha, Qatar.[2] She did not finish her race.[2] She competed at the2020 Summer Olympics, inMarathon.[3]
On 7 April 2019, setting herpersonal best in theRotterdam Marathon with a time of 2:29:11, she achieved theentry standard for theTokyo 2020 Olympics, which was set at 2:29:30.[4]
The Epis in 2015 disputed her firstmarathon, managing to improve subsequently six times in succession.[5]
