Giani Pritam Singh Dhillon was anIndian freedom fighter andSikhmissionary who, as a member of theGhadar Party, was instrumental in the planning of the failed1915 Ghadar conspiracy in theBritish Indian Army. Giani Pritam Singh Dhillon was a close friend ofGurbaksh Singh Dhillon, famous SikhIndian independence movement leader and prominent member of theIndian National Army. He was also close associate ofSubhas Chandra Bose. Pritam Singh is also remembered for reviving the same idea duringWorld War II by seeking Japanese support in the establishment of what came to be theIndian National Army. Pritam Singh died in a plane crash in 1942.
