Gateway Seminary ("GS") is aBaptisttheological institute based inOntario, California with campuses inFremont, California,Phoenix, Arizona,Vancouver, Washington, andCentennial, Colorado. It is affiliated with theSouthern Baptist Convention.
The seminary is accredited by theAssociation of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada and theWestern Association of Schools and Colleges.[2] Adam Groza has been the seminary president since April 15, 2024.[3]
The seminary was founded in 1944 as Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary by the Golden Gate Baptist Church and the First Southern Baptist Church of San Francisco in the Golden Gate Baptist Church ofOakland, California.[4] In 2016, theMill Valley, California campus moved toOntario, California and the school was renamed Gateway Seminary.[5][6]
