Gan Yoshiya (Hebrew:גַּן יֹאשִׁיָּה, lit.Josiah's Garden) is amoshav in centralIsrael. Located near theGreen Line in theTulkarm area, it falls under the jurisdiction ofHefer Valley Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 1,040.[1]
The moshav was founded on 6 December 1949 on the land of the depopulatedPalestinian village ofQaqun bydemobilisedPalmach soldiers andJewish immigrants fromRomania. It was initially namedNahal Reuven afterNabi Rubin, before being later renamed in honour ofJosiah Wedgwood.[2][3]
