Gadap Town (Urdu:گڈاپ ٹاؤن) is an administrative subdivision ofMalir District in the northwestern part of Karachi with theHub River on its western limits also forming the provincial border betweenSindh andBalochistan, while to the north and east areJamshoro District and theKirthar Mountains.[1]

The amended 2022 Local Election Act introduced by the Sindh government had notified the town system in Karachi. Gadap Town, one of the three Towns ofMalir District, comprises subdivision Gadap, Shah Mureed,Ibrahim Hyderi and parts ofBin-Qasim.[2]
