Furnace End is a largehamlet in thecivil parish ofOver Whitacre, and in theNorth Warwickshire district ofWarwickshire, England. It is on theB4114 where the road intersects with theB4098 approximately midway between themarket towns ofColeshill andAtherstone. The hamlet is believed to have acquired its name because of theiron smelting furnaces located there, which were owned by the Jennens family of nearbyNether Whitacre. Population statistics are part of Over Whitacreparish. Nearby settlements includeWhitacre Heath,Shustoke,Kingsbury andFillongley.
