Friedrich Wilhelm Hensing (17 April 1719 – 9 November 1745), born inGiessen, was a Germanprofessor of medicine and anatomy at theUniversity of Giessen.[1]
Thephrenicocolic ligament is called Hensing's ligament after him.[1][2]
Hensing was a son ofJohn Thomas Hensing, and his wife is Maria Juliana, the daughter ofFriedrich Nitsch, the Hessian Court Assessors at the Law Faculty and Vice-Chancellor ofUniversity of Giessen.[3]
