Fiadoni of Abruzzo

Fiadone (Corsican;pl.: fiadoni) is aCorsicancheesecake without a bottom layer, made ofbrocciu, sugar, lemon zest and eggs.[1] The fiadone can have a round or rectangular shape. It is baked in an oven and served cold.

In theItalian regions ofAbruzzo andMolise they are known asfiadoni,fiaduni orfiauni, large savouryricotta-stuffedravioli served mainly atEaster.
