Eutropis cumingi, also knowncommonly asCuming's eared skink,Cuming's mabouya, andCuming's mabuya, is aspecies oflizard in thefamilyScincidae. The species isendemic to thePhilippines.[2]

Etymology

Thespecific name,cumingi, is in honor of English naturalist,Hugh Cuming, who collected theholotype.[2][3]

Geographic range

E. cumingi is found in the northern parts of thePhilippines (Luzon,Calayan,Camiguin, andLubang)[1] as well as inOrchid Island southeast ofTaiwan.[1][4]

Habitat

The preferred naturalhabitats ofE. cumingi areforest andshrubland, at altitudes from sea level to 900 m (3,000 ft).[1]

Diet

E. cumingipreys uponcockroaches and otherinsects.[1]

Reproduction

E. cumingi isoviparous.Clutch size is two eggs.[2]
