Ernest Levitt (2 April 1893 – December 1979) was an English professionalfootballer who played as acentre half in theFootball League forBrentford.
Born in thenortheast of England, Levitt began his career inScotland withDundee.[2] He returned home toSilksworth to play for the village team and was signed byThird Division clubBrentford in June 1920.[2][3] Levitt made six appearances at the beginning of the1920–21 season,[4] but lost his place in the team toAlf Amos and had his contract cancelled in December 1920.[2] He returned to the northeast and played fornon-League clubsWest Stanley, Thornley Albion and Wingate Albion.[2]
