Ernest Dye (born July 15, 1971) is an American former professionalfootball player who was anoffensive guard in theNational Football League (NFL). He was selected by thePhoenix Cardinals in the first round of the1993 NFL draft.[2]
In August 1999, Dye along with teammatesCarl Simpson andLester Holmes, was involved in a severe car crash that cost Dye the use of his right arm, ending his career.[3][4]
