Er with caron (Р̌ р̌) is a letter of theCyrillic script.
Er withcaron, or oftener with breve (Р̆ р̆), is used in theNivkh language, where it represents thevoiceless alveolar trill/r̥/, sometimes analyzed as/r̥ʃ/.
It was also used in 19th-centuryPolish Cyrillic, corresponding to the digraphRz, which used to have the sound value of CzechŘ ř.[1]
