Empress Karen Carreon Schuck-Guingona (Tagalog:[ˈɛmprɛsʃʊk]; born February 19, 1993), also knownmononymously asEmpress, is aFilipino actress.
Schuck was born on February 19, 1993, in Quezon City to a Filipino-German events singer Hans Schuck and a Filipino mother. She is the 4th child among six siblings. She has three brothers; Hans Erard, Prince Justen and King Matthew and a sister actressPrincess Schuck.[2][3]
Schuck started inVaseline shampoo commercial as a model when she was 6 years old in 1999.[citation needed]
In 2000 ,Schuck was discovered byABS-CBN when she was 7 years old. At 11 years old, Schuck appeared inBida Si Mister, Bida Si Misis. Schuck's first movie was9 Mornings, when she was 9 years old.[citation needed]
In 2003 she won theMost Popular Child Actress in the 2003 Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.[citation needed]
Schuck was seen onGMA Network when she played the role of Young Cassopeia inEtheria. She also appeared inSuper Inggo as Ava Avaniko. Schuck was known as Hillary inStar Magic Presents:Abt Ur Luv[4] andStar Magic Presents:Abt Ur Luv, Ur Lyf 2.
She appeared onYour Song Presents: Underage where she played the role of Cecilia.[5]
On February 9, 2015, Schuck appeared in the drama seriesKailan Ba Tama ang Mali?.[6]
As of 2017, she is already a freelancer actress but more usually appears inGMA Network.
In 2018 she portrayed a young version ofLilet inMy Special Tatay.
On March 6, 2021, Schuck married Vino Guingona, grandson of former Philippine Vice PresidentTeofisto Guingona Jr., at the Hillcreek Gardens inTagaytay,Cavite.[7] They have one daughter, Athalia.[8][9][10]
