Elf is aracing yacht built in 1888 byGeorge Lawley & Son ofSouth Boston, Massachusetts, for William H. Wilkinson. She was designed byGeorge F. Lawley and is the oldest smallyacht in the United States. She is located at theChesapeake Bay Maritime Museum inSt. Michaels, MD.Talbot County, Maryland.[2]
She was listed on theNational Register of Historic Places on March 26, 1980.[1]
