Gympie is anelectoral district of theLegislative Assembly in the Australian state ofQueensland The electorate is centred on the city ofGympie and stretches north toRainbow Beach and as far south toPomona.[1]
The seat is currently held byTony Perrett of theLiberal National Party.
The district's most famous former member isAndrew Fisher, who later becamePrime Minister of Australia.
