Eldrid Lunden (born 5 October 1940) is aNorwegian poet, and 1996 becameNorway's first professor in creative writing, atTelemark University College. She was awarded theDobloug Prize in 1989, and theBrage Prize honorary award in 2000.[1] She was awarded theAmalie Skram Prize in 2000.[2]
Lunden belonged to the circle surrounding the modernist literary magazineProfil.
She was born inNaustdal and took hercand.philol. degree at theUniversity of Oslo.[3] She is a sister ofKåre Lunden.[3]
Lunden married 1994 the Swedish literary scholar and poet Reidar Ekner[4] and lived with him in Telemark till he died 2014.
