Eden is a smallunincorporated community inGraham County,Arizona, United States.[1] It is part of theSaffordMicropolitan Statistical Area. Eden has aZIP Code of 85535; in 2000, the population of the 85535ZCTA was 150.[2]
The first settlement at Eden was made in 1881.[3] The community was named after theGarden of Eden in the Hebrew Bible.[3]
Eden is located at32°57′40″N109°53′43″W / 32.96111°N 109.89528°W /32.96111; -109.89528, at an elevation of approximately 2756 feet above sea level.[1]
The area hosted the Indian Hot Springs Hotel until February 2008, when it burned down.[4] The mansion was rumored to host the likes of theRolling Stones on more than one occasion.[5] The mansion had a 70' × 270' pool, the largest ever inGraham County.
