dnata UK was founded in 1987 as Plane Handling.[1] By 1998,Gatwick Handling andVirgin Group each held a 50% shareholding. These were sold in October 1998 and August 2004 respectively to theGo-Ahead Group.[2][3] In December 2009, the business was sold todnata and rebranded.[4]
dnata UK specialises in ground and cargo handling atLondon Gatwick,London Heathrow (terminals2,3 and4) andManchester Airports.[5] Its clients includeCathay Pacific,Emirates,Etihad,Singapore Airlines andVirgin Atlantic.
